As a sex therapist, I believe that my work is to help others locate the strength, courage, self-compassion, and tools to create the life they want. Pleasure is a vital part of our human experience, and I am interested in how identity, culture, trauma, gender, ability, neurodivergence, and relationships, as well as sexuality, help us experience pleasure in a way that feels personal and empowering. In addition to offering sex therapy, I help relationships navigate the challenges of intimacy, communication, and conflict. Regardless of the issues, I believe therapy can help individuals and relationships connect and heal.
I try to decenter myself as an “expert” and endeavor to foster a client-centered, hope-based, holistic, collaborative experience. I enjoy giving clients a toolkit of resources that they can revisit and explore throughout their therapy. I love work that is experimental, experiential, and explorative to help address pain and disconnect.
Although sex and relationships can be challenging, the struggle to embody sexuality and to reach for deep connection is infinitely rewarding. I look forward to hearing about you, your story, and how we can overcome sexual and relationship issues with the hope and healing of a compassionate and effective sex and/or relationship therapy process.
