AnnMarie Bailey, LCSW

Hi! My name is Annmarie. I believe one of the most important parts of therapy is having a space where you can show up as you are and feel understood without judgment. Life can be complicated, and many of the young people and families I work with are carrying stress, big emotions, or relationship challenges that can feel overwhelming or isolating. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to try something new, and empowered to move toward the changes they want in their lives.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children, adolescents, and families. I’ve always been drawn to work that centers relationships, connection, and helping people feel less alone in what they’re going through.

Much of my work focuses on supporting youth and caregivers navigating anxiety, mood concerns, school stress, and family conflict while strengthening communication and connection at home. I’m especially passionate about helping families move out of patterns where everyone feels stuck, frustrated, or unheard and toward ways of interacting that feel calmer, more respectful, and more connected.

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and practical. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and family systems work. I believe therapy should offer both space to process and tools that actually help in everyday life. Whether we’re working on emotional regulation, communication, or coping with stress, I aim to help clients build skills they can carry with them outside of sessions and into their daily routines and relationships.

I’ve worked with youth and families across outpatient, and community-based settings, supporting people through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and environmental challenges. These experiences have reinforced my belief that there is no one “right” way to do therapy. Each person and family brings their own story, strengths, and needs, and I see my role as walking alongside them to figure out what feels most helpful and realistic moving forward.

At the core of my work is the belief that people are capable of growth when they feel seen, supported, and given the right tools. Therapy doesn’t mean something is wrong with you, often it means you’re doing the hard work of trying to understand yourself, your relationships, or your next steps. It’s truly an honor to be trusted with that process.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing board games, watching movies, and writing poetry. Creative expression and shared moments with the people I care about help me stay grounded and present, and I believe those same elements of connection, reflection, and balance are meaningful parts of the therapeutic process as well.

I provide individual, family, and group therapy.
