Other areas of clinical focus include neurodiversity-affirming care, recovery from sexual trauma, and accessing imagination and play as a healing practice. My master’s degree is in Expressive Arts therapy, so I can offer multiple creative modalities to further treatment goals and help strengthen a client’s mind-body connection. In my work, I also draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and have begun training in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model.
In forging connections with clients, I focus on relationship-building, cultural humility, reducing power imbalances, and a mutual ongoing commitment to growth. I aim to meet you where you are with non-judgment and curiosity, and provide frameworks and tools for you to grow your self compassion, distress tolerance, healthy relationship skills, self concept, creative expression, and healthy risk-taking. Let’s work together to help you build a life worth living that aligns with your values.
