Mission
To provide equitable access to mental health services to all peoples in the Worcester area with an inclusive lens and specialized care regarding sexual health, gender identity, and related issues.
Values
Equitable access to all – insurance credentialing with all major insurers and sliding scale fees for low-income clients provided to make mental health services as readily available as possible to all persons.
Queer inclusive lensing – diversity in sexuality is a pride of the Worcester community that we aim to foster and cultivate holistically through our education programs, therapist trainings, and in-person safe spaces.
Advocacy for the marginalized – groups that have been victim to oppression are specifically welcomed and wanted to be part of the team and client base; anti-racist, anti-oppression/colonial languages help us be mindful of this value for which we teach and are always learning best practices to demonstrate.
Fair wages – all providers and workers are compensated fairly with a profit-share model of financial distribution at year-end fiscal accounting.
Professional boundaries – supporting and helping people with their sexual health and gender identity will never violate their persons, bodies, or identities with HIPAA compliant privacy practices and incorporated guidelines from the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). Sex therapy never requires direct body touch to our clients, visual examination, or demonstration – professional visual aids are readily available such as the Wondrous Vulva puppet at any time for which visual learners need them.
Community integration – partnership with local, value-aligned community organizations in providing training and education to next generation of therapists, educators, counselors, and advocates is a pivotal part of our engagement. Please check out our resource directory listing of family orientated and queer coded spaces in the community.
