Darling Mental Health strives to seek out a balance between surviving in a capitalist world with a deep desire to return to more authentic root of commerce and shared resource management to the betterment of every living thing, including the planet. This means that we choose to undercut profits when a reasonable accommodation to reduce our carbon footprint presents. Except in protocols of sanitation we avoid purchase of plastics and otherwise seek to use compostable, bio-degradable products.
Our Earth has reliably provided us a home and environment to flourish and thrive in, oftentimes to her detriment. The cultural tone of mother nature is respected at Darling Mental Health, and we work to reduce and eliminate unnecessary waste, provide re-usable options for our complimentary tea service, and strive to be mindful of all corporate practices that are harming the planet:
Factory farming
Monocultural agriculture
Fossil fuel reliance
Deforestation
Fracking
Additionally, Darling Mental Health recognizes that AI data centers use a disproportionate amount of energy that will exponentially expend waste and tax our system. Such demands in a globally connected economy are unsustainable, and we choose to avoid using AI to expediate our client services; we hope you understand.
At all stages, we hope to help create a healthy and vibrant world for all people to enjoy. Life is brief, and we hope the next generation still gets to see fireflies, bees, & untamed wildlife.
